What we collect
When you submit a listing, ad, auction notice, inquiry or report, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, phone number, and the content of your submission. We do not require an account to browse.
Why we collect it
To publish your content after review, to connect buyers and sellers, to respond to enquiries, and to keep the platform safe. We minimise the personal data we collect and store.
Who can see it
Your contact details are shared only as needed to deliver the service (for example, forwarding an inquiry to a seller or a registered interest to a conducting party). Phone numbers are not displayed publicly unless you choose to include them in your listing. Sensitive documents are stored securely and are accessible only to administrators.
Public-source listings & directory
To make the directory useful at launch, some listings and professional/business profiles are compiled from publicly available sources (for example public adverts, gazetted or public auction notices, and public business directories). Such records:
- are clearly labelled Public listing, Not verified by Kormaet and Not affiliated unless claimed, with the source type and a last-checked date;
- contain only information that was already public, typically business contact details, not private or sensitive personal data, and never private group, message, or non-public content;
- can be claimed for free by the owner to control or correct them, and can be corrected or removed on request via Report wrong information or the Contact page, which we action promptly.
We act as the data controller for this directory and rely on legitimate-interest / public-interest grounds for publishing already-public business information for discovery, balanced against the rights of the people concerned and the safeguards above.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us via the Contact page. We aim to respond within a reasonable time.
Retention & security
We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above and apply reasonable security measures. We never collect payments through this platform.
