Safety & due diligence
Trust is the whole point of this platform. Here is how we protect you — and what you must still do yourself.
- Never pay a deposit, "commitment fee" or "viewing fee" before independent verification.
- Verify the seller is the registered owner or legally authorized.
- Conduct an official land registry search and review the title deed.
- Visit the property physically — confirm boundaries, access and occupation.
- Use a qualified advocate for agreements, transfers and auction purchases.
- Confirm auctioneer/agent authority — ask for license numbers and instructing-party letters.
- Avoid pressure tactics. "Pay today or lose it" is a red flag — walk away and report.
What our verification labels mean
- Unverified — Published after a basic completeness review only. Do your own due diligence.
- Reviewed by admin — Phone confirmed and details checked for plausibility.
- Documents seen — Title/search documents have been sighted (not independently authenticated).
- Verified Seller — Identity and ownership linkage confirmed by our team.
A verification badge can never exist without a logged verification record — it is enforced in our database, not by memory.
